The Luxurious Bedrooms

Bedrooms

All three bedrooms are light, airy and spacious. They are furnished to a very high standard and each has a fully tiled en-suite. All of the bathrooms have opening windows for natural light and ventilation. The tiled floors are heated for that extra little bit of luxurious comfort.

One of the bedrooms, The Garden Room, has south-facing French doors leading to a private patio with hard wood furniture. This bedroom and en-suite have several disability friendly features that make this room equally suitable for our less mobile guests. You can read our Access Statement here.

Guests staying in the upstairs bedrooms can also enjoy the main garden which has two patio areas with hardwood furniture, including reclining steamer chairs.

Whatcroft - first-floor Double Room

'Whatcroft' is a spacious first-floor double room with opening windows to both the North and South facing elevations.

The en-suite bathroom

The en-suite bathroom has an opening window for natural light and ventilaion. The tiled floor is heated and the heated towel rail ensures that the sumptuous bath sheets are warm and ready to wrap yourself in. There is a shower above the bath.

  • Super King Size (6ft) Luxurious pocket-sprung divan bed
  • Egyptian cotton linen, quality duvet and pillows. The pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic. Additional blankets are kept in the room and, if requested when booking, the bed can be made with sheets and blankets

Longfords - first-floor Double Room

'Longfords' is a generous first-floor double room with three south-facing windows.

Garden Room - ground-floor Double or Twin Room with disability-friendly features

As its name suggests, the 'Garden Room' is situated on the ground floor and this makes the room equally suitable for guests with a mobility problem (but not exclusively - anyone could enjoy this lovely room). You may like to view the Disability Friendly Features

The en-suite bathroom

There are south-facing French windows leading to a screened patio with hardwood table and chairs.

The room can be either a twin or a super king-sized double.

The en-suite shower room has an opening window for natural light and ventilaion. The tiled floor is heated and the heated towel rail ensures that the sumptuous bath sheets are warm and ready to wrap yourself in. The en-suite is a ‘wet room’, which means that the tiled floor is also the floor of the shower area so that there is no step in to a shower tray.

The main features of the room are:

  • A luxurious pocket sprung 'zip & link' bed that can be a Super King Size (6ft) double or be separated into twin beds with ample space in between
  • Egyptian cotton linen, quality duvet and pillows. The pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic. Additional blankets are kept in the room and, if requested when booking, the bed can be made with sheets and blankets
